随着2012的临近，本片与拉斯.冯.提尔的新作《忧郁症》类似，都是从女性角度出发看待人类面临世界末日到来的思考，不同的是本片展现的人类爱的力量，而《忧郁症》到最后则是人类与地球一块毁灭了。
