　　狂暴的风雪在肆虐着南极大地，科考队员进退两难，在恶劣的天气和环境下挣扎求生。而此时，他们只能决定放弃那八条忠实的雪橇狗。当三人安全返回的时候，他们怎样也放不下那些还陷于危难的狗。为了挽救它们，三人沿途折回，回到了那片南极大地。
