◎简　　介

　　为研发新药，一个猎人（威廉达福饰演）受红叶医药公司委托，踏上了捕获濒临绝灭的物种塔斯马尼亚虎的旅程，寄宿在壮阔的塔斯马尼亚平原上一个男主人外出失踪半年的三口之家中。
　　猎人在苦苦搜猎之余，和女主人还有两个小孩渐生情愫，并目睹了塔斯马尼亚平原严重的环保危局，揭开了男主人失踪的迷局，发现了塔斯马尼亚虎的踪迹，更由此推断出了幕后的种种利益关联，于是，受雇的猎人就此停止狩猎，开始用心在孤儿寡母身上。
　　幕后的利益集团恼羞成怒，派出了新的猎手，猎人和一家三口，还有濒危的塔斯马尼亚虎将会怎样呢？
