# V" i% y5 k% |5 L& i! g　　上了年纪的演员玛利亚（朱丽叶·比诺什 饰），年轻时曾饰演“西格德”一角，西格德是一个充满野心，具有致命魅力的女孩，吸引了一个名为海琳娜的成熟女人并导致她最终自杀。这个角色让年轻的玛利亚获得了成功，跻身名流。多年之后，年过40的玛利亚对自己的年龄格外敏感。此时，玛利亚将再次出演成名作，不过角色由迷人的西格德变为自杀而死的海琳娜。而好莱坞问题少女艾利斯（科洛·莫瑞兹 饰）将接手西格德的角色。玛利亚对艾利斯由开始的不屑一顾逐渐转为依赖，如同海琳娜对西格德的迷恋，然而这份危险的痴迷却伤害了玛利亚与她唯一的朋友，私人助理薇伦汀（克里斯汀·斯图尔特 饰）的亲密关系。

At the peak of her international career, Maria Enders (Juliette Binoche) is asked to perform in a revival of the play that made her famous twenty years ago. But back then she played the role of Sigrid, an alluring young girl who disarms and eventually drives her boss Helena to suicide. Now she is being asked to step into the other role, that of the older Helena. She departs with her assistant (Kristen Stewart) to rehearse in Sils Maria; a remote region of the Alps. A young Hollywood starlet with a penchant for scandal (Chloe Grace Moretz) is to take on the role of Sigrid, and Maria finds herself on the other side of the mirror, face to face with an ambiguously charming woman who is, in essence, an unsettling reflection of herself.
