　　 When federal agent Zack Stewart turns up dead, his partner, agent John Ripley, vows to find the murderer and takes control of all of the cases that Stewart was on when he was killed. One investigation involves a ring of thugs who hijack cars, another deals with a mobster on the lam, and the third revolves around blackmail and kidnapping.
