# \/ ^+ l( X) F  x* z6 fReleased on Blu-ray from distributor Kino Lorber, Intimacy features a 1080p MPEG-4 AVC encoded high definition presentation in the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1 widescreen. The feature is newly restored. The 4K restoration is superb from beginning to end. Detail is exceptional.The fine film grain looks downright superb and the cinematography is kept intact. Color reproduction is excellent. The release has no noticeable encoding problems and the scan is free from any issues with dirt, debris, or print damage. A beautiful, organic presentation that absolutely delivers a fantastic experience. This is a top-notch restoration.

The release includes two audio options: 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and 2.0 DTS-HD Master Audio. The surround sound option was my preference and is an excellent quality presentation which has a dynamic design which is hard to ignore. While some sequences in the film have a dialogue-heavy approach, there are other moments in which the surrounds are actually rather active and engaging (especially in regards to the music soundtrack). When a classic track from The Chemical Brothers blasts from the speakers, the sound quality is enormously engaging. Dialogue is consistently clean, clear, and easy to understand. Optional English SDH subtitles (for the deaf and hard of hearing) are provided.
