4 F+ a" X6 |  c* N6 \If you have seen our review of StudioCanal's Region-B release, you should already know what to expect from this release because it is sourced from the exact same recent 4K restoration of the film.

- }% {0 F- b- Z. fThe entire film has a very solid organic appearance and on a larger screen boasts the type of depth that only proper recent high-quality masters can deliver. The grading job is also outstanding, allowing various smaller and bigger nuances to be easily recognized (see screencapture #1). Grain exposure is strong and even, as it should be, and there are no traces of digital sharpening or other similar enhancements. There is one particular segment that has sporadic softness, but this is clearly a source limitation (you can see an example in screencapture #18). There are distracting large debris, cuts, damage marks, warped or torn frames to report. Indeed, this is a very solid makeover of the film. My score is 4.75/5.00. (Note: This is a Region-A "locked" Blu-ray release. Therefore, you must have a native Region-A or Region-Free player in order to access its content).

( ^- c" Q, K5 {6 l8 |4 DThere is only one standard audio track on this Blu-ray release: English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0. Optional English SDH subtitles are provided for the main feature.

% f& `$ ~& K- w/ lThe audio has the type of native qualities that a film from the 1960s ought to have. Some minor unevenness exists, but clarity and depth are very nice. (You won't have to turn on the subtitles to catch all lines during the mass footage). Dynamic intensity is not impressive, but this isn't surprising because there is quite a bit of borderline documentary footage. There are no audio dropouts or distortions to report.
