　　上世纪60年代，安保运动如火如荼，漫画家赤冢不二夫（浅野忠信 饰）也迎来人生最辉煌的时刻。他和他的团队创作的无厘头搞笑漫画《阿松》大受欢迎，连带小学馆的周刊杂志《少年SUNDAY》销量也节节攀升。与此同时，一群新人编辑加入小学馆。过于严肃的女编辑武田初美（堀北真希 饰）引起了一向搞怪的赤冢的注意，于是拜托杂志社将武田配为自己的责任编辑。武田起初并不习惯赤冢团队的“笨蛋”风格，但在接触过程中渐渐融入了进去，与赤冢共同经历着人生与事业的起伏，见证了天才漫画家的创作历程……

　　Editor Takeda Hatsumi observes manga artist Akatsuka Fujio for whom she is responsible. This is a big company, important artist and her first serious responsibility. The artist is friendly and soon the two grow closer and closer and the relationship grows beyond the merely professional.
