　　自由作家的我（伊势谷有介），受美女主编的派遣，去查找并报道不明生物“死之宿敌”，这可是需要付出生命的危险任务，但是如果不去做更有可能被主编杀死，于是我和同伴（松尾铃木）开始寻找的旅程。一路上遇见了想要自杀的姑娘沙夜子（菊地凛子），以及一些奇怪的人，而他们也恰好在找“死之宿敌”的线索，眼见报道截稿期就到了，到底谁最后找到了这个神秘的生物？而差点丢了姓名的我最后能完成报道么？
