　　60年代的法国黑帮片，一点也不暴力，倒是有点黑色幽默。几个主角都是名演员，随便哪个都是演过上百部电影！在那个时代，黑帮的打斗和火拼有点怪怪的。不是在路边埋伏就是到荒僻的房子里去搞无声手枪的枪战。打斗也有意思，就是拽过来，用拳头猛捶。根本不用刀子，也很少见血。不像现在这么血腥。

　　情节是说一个前黑帮头目被马上要咽气的黑帮老大召唤来。被指定为新的头领，接管黑帮的生意还要负责照顾原来的老大的女儿。那时候的法国黑帮有点像意大利黑手党啊，新老大还要负责照顾遗孀或者孤儿寡女。当然里，原来的几个干将都不服气。这种黑帮的接班都是会有麻烦的。

　　这个电影吸引人之处就是把火拼的故事加上了喜剧。似乎里面的每个人都不太在乎生死，倒是很在乎自己的面子和幽默感。那个前老大的女儿更是出格，完全是公主派头，住在漂亮的城堡里，光彩照人。而几乎所有的老大们都宠着她。这个扮演女儿的Claude现在还活跃在电影界，好像还是什么评委。那个时候真漂亮啊，站在楼梯上简简单单的一句话，一个眼神就能让人不由得生出怜爱。
