◎简　　介

Back to the Future Blu-ray, Video Quality

. J3 |+ F3 i6 h, j3 GThe newly remastered 1080p picture cannot match the UHD for perfect filmic accuracy. It's a clear step down but a good step up from the old, inadequate, and outdated decade-old Blu-ray. The picture holds firm to a fairly nice, natural grain structure accentuating the many handsome textures throughout, including Marty's denim jacket, scientific gizmos and odds and ends, and all sorts of vintage textures throughout the 1950s version of Hill Valley. There are times when the picture struggles a little with maintaining definition. Some of the shots during the scene when George confronts Biff out in the school parking lot almost look standard def, but such are very few and far between. Colors are healthy and full, boasting good flesh tones, quality black levels, and nice contrast and saturation to critical hues, like natural greenery, Marty's denim jacket, and various lights and readouts inside the DeLorean. Black levels are very impressive at the 1:00 AM hour in the mall parking lot as seen in chapter five. Flesh tones are of a good quality, too. Most fans would be very happy with this release in isolation, but after watching the film on UHD there's just no mistaking that this one can't keep up, try as it might in all areas. Still, it's a solid step forward from Universal's older efforts in all key areas: filmic accuracy, clarity, detail, and color.
